A little info about Laser Lipo
Laser Lipo is not a treatment for obesity it is designed for the reduction of stubborn areas of fat in conjunction with skin tightening in people who have an average body weight/size.
The manufacturer recommends 8 sessions per area. (an area would be stomach or two thighs etc)
The results give a more pleasing body shape in a short time, without the secondary effects of more aggressive procedures.
The laser-based system has emerged out of sports injury treatment where for the past decade or so physiotherapists have been using Cold Red laser to assist the body's healing process and reduce swelling and inflammation. The Class 3B Cold red lasers do penetrate the skin but only to a depth of a maximum of 13mm. This safeguard's against any side effects or even potential damage to organs and blood vessels. A key benefit of Laser Lipo is that the process does not remove fat cells as such, and thus there is no risk of new fat being stored in other, perhaps more dangerous areas around the body. With endorsement from leading medical and cosmetic practitioners, and the fact that the basis of the treatment is well proven in the sports injury arena, you can be reassured that this procedure really is risk-free.

HOW LASER LIPO TREATMENT WORKS
Cell Breakdown
The Laser Lipo emits low levels laser energy and penetrates the skin. This makes the fat cells ‘sweat’ water, glycerol and free fatty acids The fat cell shrinks and the lymphatic system removes the fatty liquids through the body’s natural metabolic function and these are used by the body as an energy source. They are then processed in the same way as fatty foods that are digested. The procedure gives a healthy and safe inch loss. This process does not affect the neighbouring structures such as skin, blood vessels, and peripheral nerves.
Laser Lipo Aftercare
The Laser Lipo treatment does not harm the body in any way as the fat cells are left intact. The body will still maintain its ability to store fat in the areas that have been targeted. This will prevent fat being stored in different parts such as around the heart or vital organs so is an important factor.

The Laser Lipo Treatment
Following the completion of a medical questionnaire:
1. The targeted fatty area will be accurately measured.
2. Two large Diode Laser paddles will positioned on the targeted fatty areas and secured with a Velcro belt.
3. Two smaller Probe Lasers will be placed over the appropriate lymphatic glands and held in place.
4. The Laser Lipo BCS will then be switched on for 10 minutes, placed in the next position on the treatment area and turned on for another 10 minutes, this will be repeated one more time. Where necessary it will be reapplied for a further 10 minutes – maximum 40 minutes.
5. The treated area will now be re-measured to assess the inch-loss achieved. On average one can expect to see a reduction of between 0.5 and 3 inches (1.25-8cm) (our record is actually 10 cm's in the first session)
6. In order to increase the body’s ability to remove the broken down fat cells, it is necessary to assist the natural process by increasing the metabolic rate. This can be achieved in a number of ways e.g. 30 minutes cardio vascular exercise such as brisk walking, running.

How it works - Overview
